Apple Coffee Cozy Free Crochet Pattern

Materials & Tools:
* G 4.0 mm Hook Joann's or Amazon 

* I 5.5 mm Hook Joann's or Amazon 
* Worsted Weight Yarn in Colors of your choice

     Red Heart Super Saver (Joann's) or Amazon (I Love this Yarn)

        I used Teal, Red, brown & green

Stitches:
Mc – Magic Circle
Sl st – Slip Stitch
St – Stitch
Ch - Chain
Sc – Single Crochet
Hdc – Half Double Crochet

Cozy Pattern: I Hook
Chain 30 and slip stitch to first chain, Ch 1 (30)
Round 2: Sc in back hump of each stitch, sl st, ch 1 (30)
From now on you will work in back loops for entire cozy pattern
Round 3: Sl st in each stitch, sl st to first sl st, ch 1 (30) *sl st slightly loose so your cozy can stretch*
Round 4: Sc in each st, sl st, ch 1 (30)
Round 5: Repeat round 3 (30)
Round 6: 2 Sc in st st, Sc in rest of sts, sl st, ch 1 (31)
Round 7: Repeat round 3 (31)
Round 8: Repeat round 4 (31)
Round 9: Repeat round 3 (31)
Round 10: Repeat round 6 (32)

Round 11: Repeat round 3 (32)
Round 12: Sc in each stitch, sl st, ch 1 (32)
Tie off and weave in ends

Apple: Using G hook and red
Make 8 Sc in MC
Round 2: Make 2 Sc in each (16)
Round 3: Sc in 1st st, make 2 Hdc in next st, Hdc, 2 Hdc, Hdc, 2 Hdc, sl st, sl st, Hdc, 2 Hdc, Hdc, 2 Hdc, Hdc, Hdc, Sc, sl st,
do not sl st to 1st stitch
Tie off and weave in ends.

Stem: G hook and Brown yarn
Chain 5
Sl St in 2nd ch from hook and the next 3
Attach to top of apple

Leaf: G hook using green yarn
Chain 5
Sl st in 2nd ch from hook, Hdc, Hdc, sl st in last ch, ch 1
*work on other side of chain
Sl st, Hdc, Hdc, Sl st, sl st to fist st
Tie off and attach to apple
You can leave the apple off as well
