Materials:

• Tapestry Needle https://amzn.to/3wXRH0P
• Your Choice of Worsted Weight Yarn in yellow/ Gold – I used Caron one pound “Sunflower”  https://amzn.to/3wZYyXK
• Pipsqueak yarn – I used White for the foam https://amzn.to/3Tji0Gb
• Stuffing for the handle  https://amzn.to/3Tji4pp 

Abbreviations:

Magic Circle
ST= Stitch
BL= Back Loop
SC= Single Crochet
Sc2tog= Single Crochet 2 Stitches Together
HDC = Half Double Crochet
FPDC= Front Post Double Crochet

Cozy Pattern: G Hook
Make 8 Hdc in Magic Circle, sl st, ch 1 (8)
Round 2: Make2 Hdc in each st, sl st, ch 1 (16)
Round 3: Make 2 Hdc in st, *Hdc in next st, 2 Hdc in next st* Repeat around, sl st, ch 1 (24)
Round 4: Make 2 Hdc in st, *Hdc in next 2 sts, 2 Hdc in next st* Repeat around, sl st, ch 1 (32)
Round 5: Working in BL only, Hdc in each st around, sl st, ch 2 (32)
Round 6-15: *FPDC in the next 2 sts, Hdc in the next 2 sts*, repeat around, sl st, ch 2 (32)
Round 16: Hdc in each st, sl st, ch 1 (32)
Change to Furry yarn and I hook
Round 17-18: Hdc in each st, sl st, ch 1 (32)

Handle: G hook – Working in continuous rounds – No sl st
Make 8 Sc in Magic Circle, (8)
Round 2-20: Sc in each st (8)
Stuff your handle
Round 21: Sc2tog until closed
Tie off and weave in ends
Sew Handle to the side of Mug – You can also leave the handle off – Totally up to you
