Minion or Evil Minion Ice/ Freezer Pop Cozy Crochet Pattern

Materials:
* Size G 4.0 mm hook

       Joann's or Amazon 
* Tapestry Needle

        Joann's or Amazon 
* Your Choice of Worsted Weight Yarn in Black, Purple, Gray, Yellow & Blue

     Red Heart Super Saver, Big Twist Yarn or I Love this Yarn 

*Googly Eyes (Optional)

     Joann's or Amazon 

Abbreviations:
Magic Circle
ST= Stitch
SC= Single Crochet
HDC = Half Double Crochet
SL ST= Slip Stitch

Cozy Pattern: Yellow Minion - Strarting with BLUE 
Chain 9 with blue
Round 1: Hdc in 2nd ch from hook, Hdc across (8)
*Now working on opposite side of chain
Hdc across, sl st and Ch 1 (8)
Rounds 2-4: Hdc in each st, sl st, ch 1 (16)

Change to Yellow
Rounds 5-7: Hdc in each st, sl st, ch 1(16)

Change color to Black
Round 8: Hdc in each st, sl st, ch 1 (16)

Change color back to Yellow
Round 9-11: Hdc in each st, sl st, ch 1 (16)
Round 12: Sc in each st, sl st, ch 1 (16)
Tie off and weave in ends

Cozy Pattern: Purple Minion
Chain 9 with Purple
Round 1: Hdc in 2nd ch from hook, Hdc across (8)
*Now working on opposite side of chain
Hdc across, sl st and Ch 1 (8)
Rounds 2-7: Hdc in each st, sl st, ch 1 (16)

Change color to Black
Round 8: Hdc in each st, sl st, ch 1 (16)

Change color back to purple
Rounds 9-11: Hdc in each st, sl st, ch 1 (16)
Round 12: Sc in each st, sl st, ch 1 (16)
Tie off and weave in ends.

Eye:
With White
Make 8 Hdc in Magic Circle, sl st, ch 1 (8)

Change color to Gray
Round 2: 2 Sc in each st, sl st, ch 1 (16)
Round 3: Sl St in each st, sl st, ch 1
Tie off and weave in ends.

Mouth & Hair: Yellow Minion
Using black yarn, stitch a smile/ smirk on the front.
Cut (3) strands of yarn about 6” long. Weave through top stitches on top and knot. Cut shorter if needed.

Mouth & Hair: Yellow Minion
I did a zig zag type smile, but you are welcome to do whatever you would like.
I did the same thing for the hair but used purple and I separated the yarn to make it look crazier.
