Crochet Real Size Stethoscope

Materials

• Worsted weight #4 yarn in your choice of colors

           I used Light Gray & Black

• 4.0mm G crochet hook
• Polyester fiberfill
• 12-gauge floral wire
• Stitch marker, yarn needle, scissors, Hot Glue

Pattern Instructions

Starting with the Earpiece (You can stuff the earpiece a little if you want

Start with Black Yarn

Make 6 Sc in Magic Circle, sl st, ch 1 (6)

Round 2-3: Sc in each stitch, sl st, ch 1 (6)

Round 4: Sc2tog, Sc in rest of stitches (5)

Change to Gray

Rounds 5-40: Sc around in each st (I worked in continuous rounds)

Change to Black

Round 41: Make 2 Sc in 1st st, Sc in rest of stitches (6)

Round 42-64: Sc in each stitch around (Still working in continuous rounds)

Change back to gray

Round 65: Sc2tog, Sc in rest of stitches (5)

Round 66-100: Sc in each st (Still in continuous rounds)

Tie off and weave in ends

Cut the length of wire to fit through the whole piece.

Make another earpiece and attach it to the end of the gray part.

Chain 9

Row 1: Sc across (8)

Long hanging tube piece - Using black yarn

Leaving a tail - Make 6 Sc in a Magic Circle

*Sc around in continuous rounds until it measures approx. 11”

Tie off and use tail to attach to black part of top part

Big Diaphragm - Using Gray

Make 13 Dc in Magic circle

Round 2: Make 2 Sc in each st

Tie off and weave in ends

Small Diaphragm - Using Gray

Make 13 Dc in Magic Circle

Tie off and weave in ends

Center of Diaphragm - Using gray

Chain 11

Sc across (10)

Make a circle with this piece and sew short ends together

Attach the long tube piece to the side of this piece

With hot glue attach the diaphragm pieces

Place small diaphragm on one side

Add large diaphragm on the other side
