Crocheted Cactus Applique

Note: You can always use smaller or larger hook to make it bigger or smaller

Materials:
* Vanna’s Choice “Olive” This color is no longer available, here is an alternative "Kelly Green"
* Size E 3.5 mm Hook
* Tapestry Needle
* I used paper flowers & pearl embellishments

Abbreviations:
ST= Stitch
SC= Single Crochet
HDC = Half Double Crochet

Cactus Pattern:
Ch 17
Sc across, ch 1 turn (16)
Now working on other side
Sc in the next 7 stitches, ch 9, Hdc in 2nd ch from hook and in the next 7 chains (8 hdc’s total) sc in the next 8 sts, 2sc in
the next 2 sts
Sc in the next 6 sts, ch 9, Hdc in the 2nd ch from hook and in the next 7 sts (8 hdc’s total), sc in the next 9 sts
Tie off & wave in ends
