F-Bomb Crochet Stuffed Toy

Materials:

Worsted Weight Yarn in Black, Gray, White, Red, Yellow and Orange

G Hook 4.0 mm

F Hook 3.75 mm

Tapestry Needle

Stuffing

Hot glue

Bomb: Start with Black and G Hook

*I work in continuous rounds, but you can sl st and ch 1*

Make 8 Hdc in Magic Circle

Round 2: 2 Hdc in each st

Round 3: *Hdc in 1st st, 2 Hdc in next st, repeat

Round 4: *Hdc in the next 2 sts, 2 Hdc in the next, repeat

Round 5: *Hdc in the next 3 sts, 2 Hdc in the next, repeat

Round 6: *Hdc in the next 4 sts, 2 Hdc in the next, repeat

Round 7: *Hdc in the next 5 sts, 2 Hdc in the next, repeat

Round 8: *Hdc in the next 6 sts, 2 Hdc in the next, repeat

Round 9-16: Hdc in each st

Round 17: *Hdc in the next 6 sts, Hdc2Tog, repeat

Round 18: *Hdc in the next 5 sts, Hdc2Tog, repeat

Round 19: *Hdc in the next 4 sts, Hdc2Tog, repeat

Round 20: *Hdc in the next 3 sts, Hdc2Tog, repeat

Round 21: *Hdc in the next 2 sts, Hdc2Tog, repeat

Change to Gray

Round 1: Sl st in each st

Round 2-6: Sc in each st

Tie off and weave in ends

Gray Top: G Hook

Make 6 Sc in Magic Circle

Round 2: Make 2 Sc in each st

Round 3: Make 2 Sc in each st

White Cord: G Hook

Ch 17

Row 1: Sl st in the 2 ch from hook and across in each ch

Row 2-3: Sl st in st

* Attach Cord to the top center of the gray top, then sew gray top to the gray part of the bomb top. Make sure you stuff to your liking before you fully close the gray portion.

* Cut red, yellow and orange pieces of yarn about 11” or so. Weave them through the end of the cord. Separate the strands. You can trim the flame to your desired length.

Letter F: Using the F Hook

Row 1: Ch 12, sc in 2nd ch from hook and each remaining ch. Turn. (11 sts)

Row 2 - 3: Ch 1, sc in each st. Turn. (11 sts)

Row 4: Ch 1, sc in first 3 sts, leaving remaining sts unworked. Turn. (3 sts)

Row 5: Ch 1, sc in each st. Turn. (3 sts)

Row 6: Ch 1, sc in each st, ch 6. Turn. (3 sc, 6 ch)

Row 7: Sc in the 2nd ch from hook and each remaining ch, sc in each st. Turn. (8 sts)

Row 8 - 9: Ch 1, sc in each st. Turn. (8 sts)

Row 10: Ch 1, sc in first 3 sts, leaving remaining sts unworked. Turn. (3 sts)

Row 11 - 15: Ch 1, sc in each  st. Turn. (3 sts)

Sc evenly around entire letter and glue to the bomb
