Ghost & Pumpkin Rearview Hanger

Materials:

2.0 mm Crochet Hook

3.0 mm Crochet Hook

4.0 mm Crochet Hook

Worsted Weight Yarn

Red Heart Super Saver - Tea Leaf

Big Twist Soft - Orange

Red Heart Super Saver White

8mm Safety Eyes

Stuffing

Tapestry Needle

Stitch Counter

Scissors

Stitches:

Ch = Chain

SC = Single Crochet

Hdc = Half Double Crochet

DC = Double Crochet

HTC = Half Triple Crochet

TC = Triple Crochet

St = Stitch

Sl St = Slip Stich

MC = Magic Circle

Dec = stitch 2 sts together

Ghost Pattern: 2.0 mm Hook & White Yarn

*Working in rounds

Make 6 Sc in MC (6)

Round 2: Make 2 Sc in each stitch (12)

Round 3: *Make 1 sc in the next st, Make 2 Sc in the next st,* Repeat (18)

Round 4: *Make 1 sc in the next st, Make 3 Sc in the next st,* Repeat (30)

Round 5-13: Sc around in each st (30)

Round 14: Sc around in Front Loops Only (30)

Round 15: *Sl st, Skip a st, 5 Sc in the st, skip,* repeat - you might just have 1 st left. Sl st in that st and sl st to the first st made 

Round 16: Sc in each sc, and sl st in each sl st

Tie off weave in ends

**Attach safety eyes between rounds 7 & 8, keeping them apart between 3 to 4 sts

Attach yarn at bottom of ghost at the back loops created from previous rounds

Round 1: Sc in each back loop (30)

Round 2: *Sc in the next 3 sts, dec the next 2 sts,* repeat

Round 3: *Sc in the next 2 sts, dec the next 2 sts,* repeat

Round 4: *Sc in the next 1 sts, dec the next 2 sts,* repeat

**Start stuffing

Cinch close open hole, tie off and weave in ends

Pumpkin Pattern: Using Orange & 2.0 mm Hook

**Leave a tail to close opening when done

Chain 15

Row 1: Sc across in each ch (14)

Round 2-13: Dc in each stitch across in the back loops only

*Put the right sides facing together and Sc closed the edges. Leave a long tail to close and shape pumpkin

Close one end of pumpkin, tie off and weave in ends

Studd the pumpkin

Close the opening with the tail, then weave the tail through the center and outside of pumpkin to create humps 

Tie off and weave in ends

Using 4.0 mm hook & Green

Attach green to pumpkin and chain 60, cut and attach green to ghost

Leaf Pattern: with Green and 3.0 mm Hook

Chain 13

Sc in 3rd ch from hook, Hdc, Dc, HTC, make a Tc in the next 3 sts, HTC, Dc, Hdc, sc, turn and reat on other side, sl st to first st

Sl st down the center of the leaf to create a spine

Chain 16

Do Not Fasten Off

Chain another 13 and creat another leaf

Weave in ends

*Use this to tie around the long tail between the ghost & pumpkin to hang on the rearview mirror.
