Granny Stitch Leg Warmers Free Crochet Pattern

Size: 2T measures approx. 8” to 9” around calf

Materials:
* Size H 5.0 mm hook
* Tapestry Needle
* Your choice of worsted weight #4 yarn
* Optional – sparkly embellishments

Abbreviations:
Magic Circle
Ch = Chain
Sl St = Slip Stitch
Sc = Single Crochet
FPHDC = Front post half double crochet
BPHDC = Back post half double crochet
Hdc = Half double crochet

Leg Warmers: Make 2
Chain 35
Round 1: Sc around, sl st to make a circle, ch 1
Round 2-6: FPHDC around 1st single crochet, BPHDC around next single crochet, sl st, ch 1

Change Color
Round 7-16: 2 Hdc in 1st st, *Skip 2 sts, 2 Hdc in next st*, Repeat around, Sl st, ch 1

Change color
Round 17-26: 2 Hdc in 1st st, *Skip 2 sts, 2 Hdc in next st*, Repeat around, Sl st, ch 1
Round 27: Sc around bottom, fasten off & weave in ends

Flower: Make 2

Attach flowers to leg warmers. Add embellishment to center if you would like

Chain a long enough strand to weave through the top of the leg warmer. Make a couple Pom Poms, one for each side of
strand and attach
