Teacup/ Coffee Cup Crocheted Bookmark

Materials:

Abbreviations:

Ch - Chain

Sl St - Slip Stitch

Mc - Magic Circle

Sc - Single Crochet

Dc = Double Crochet

St = Stitch

Cup: Using beige or your choice of color

Round 1: Make 8 Sc in a Mc (8)

Round 2: Make 2 Sc in each stitch around (16)

Round 3-5: Sc around (16)

Do not tie off just yet

Coffee Part: Using Dark Brown or yarn color of your choice

Round 1: Make 8 Dc in Magic Circle, Sl st, Ch 1 (8)

Round 2: Make 2 Sc in each st around, Sl St (16)

*Now take your Coffee part and the Teacup and insert the coffee part into the center of the teacup. You will go through both loops on the teacup and the front loops of the coffee part and sc around with the beige yarn that you ddn;t cut off yet. (Make sure you stuff it before you close the top). 

Chain 8 for the handle and slip stitch to the bottom of cup

Now you can tie off and weave in ends

Plate: Using beige yarn or your choice of color

Round 1: Make 10 Dc in Mc (10)

Round 2: Make 2 Dc in each st (20)

Cord: Using Beige or a different color

Chain 100 (or as many or little chains you would like

Then Sl st back across the chain and attach to bottom of mushroom stem

Then you can attach the mushroom top to the top of the mushroom stem

Tassel:

I cut 10 strands of yarn about 12” long and put them through the bottom of the cord. 

Once I reached the desired thickness, I wrapped the top portion until I liked the look. 

Tie off and weave in the end.
