Unicorn Ice/ Freezer Pop Cozy Crochet Pattern

Materials:
* Size E 3.5 mm Hook

     Joann's or Amazon 

* Size G 4.0 mm Hook

      Joann's or Amazon 
* Tapestry Needle

     Joann's or Amazon 
* Your Choice of Worsted Weight Yarn – I used Red Heart Super Saver “bright yellow” for the horn

       Red Heart Super Saver or Big Twist Yarn

Abbreviations:
ST= Stitch
SC= Single Crochet
HDC = Half Double Crochet
BL= Back Loop

Cozy Pattern:
Chain 9
Hdc in 2nd ch from hook, Hdc across (8)
*Now working on opposite side of chain
Hdc across (8)
You now will be working in rounds – I did not sl st and ch 1, but you can if it’s easier for you
Round 2-11: Hdc in each st (16)
Round 12: Sc in the next 2 sts, (Hdc, ch 2, sl st in 2nd ch from hook, Hdc), Sc in the next 3 sts, (Hdc, ch 2, sl st in 2nd ch from
hook, Hdc), Sc in the last 9 sts, sl st, ch 1
Tie off and weave in ends

Horn: Using your E hook and yellow
Ch 2
Row 1: Make 2 Sc in the 2nd ch from hook, ch 1, turn (2)
Row 2-4: Working in back loops Sc across (2)
Row 5: Sc across in Both Loops, Ch 1 and tie off
*I used a tail and sewed it to the front**

For the FACE I used black yarn and stitched it on
For the Hair/ Mane, I cut strands of different colored yarn and attached to the center of the back of the cozy
